All that Glitters

We just returned from a whirlwind week in NYC for the NY NOW gift and home furnishings market. A visit to NYC never fails to inspire, and NY NOW can't be beat for spotting the latest trends in design. Designer Lulu DK has launched a line of temporary, jewelry inspired metallic tattoos and it felt as if EVERYONE was sporting these glittering pretties at market. The tattoos, available in gold or silver, are non toxic, apply with water and last 4 - 6 days. Friday Faves: Collecting Ironstone

Happy Friday! The weekend is upon us, and the second weekend of the month is always a favorite because it means one thing... treasure hunting at Scott's Antique Market. Known as the "world's largest indoor antique show", Scott's Antique Market never disappoints. Designers, collectors and vintage lovers across the southeast descend upon Atlanta's Exposition Center south of the city the second weekend of each month to scour the wares of hundreds of vendors. Textile Tuesday: Document Fossil

Document Fossil is one of the most recognizable textile patterns in the Lacefield line, partially due to its starring roll on Victoria Grayson's wingchair in the ABC hit series, Revenge. Since its debut in the textile line seven years ago, the versatile Lacefield Document pattern has been used on upholstered furniture of all silhouettes and styles, drapery panels, shower curtains, lampshades, table linens, holiday decor and more. The intriguing script design was inspired by a collection of vintage French documents in the Lacefield design archives. Printed on our popular heavy basket base cloth, a durable blend of Rayon and cotton, Document Fossil proves to be pretty, feminine and functional.
